South Holston

Me and the kids Saturday on Osceola Island, just below South Holston Dam.

Alex, in the foreground, is eleven. Abby, in the background, is four.

She can't keep her backcast up in the air, so, she whips it back to lay it out on the grass behind her, then whips it out forward... she at least followed instructions, she'll put it upstream, let it come back down to where it is parallel to her, then flip it back then back out....

It was a beautiful day out.... good way to spend the day.....

As she's doing well enough having just started out at 4, so I figure by the time she's 14, she'll be one heck of a fisher-person, lol, a whole lot better than I was at that age (or now, for that matter)....
