Sorry, I came off wrong. Of course, use safe practices, and yes tugs are not advised with the use of a tow strap. I was referring to the use of a Kinetic Rope.

I've always used Jate rings, and they've been plenty strong enough on hard tugs. Just make sure to get the right strength bolt... At least a Grade 8.
