My ABS sometimes did that too and from what I can gather it's a fairly common problem. I pulled the ABS fuses and all is well now. I can stop much faster in snow with the system disabled. I feel much safer knowing the system is off.

We got about 9" here and the Disco had no problems digging itself out. Using the skinny pedal is a much more entertaining way of defeating snow than a shovel is!

I just picked them up from Walmart but I've seen the same stuff in auto parts stores. They weren't pre-cut but getting them cut to the right size wasn't hard. $30 for the whole job was much better than the $240 I was quoted at the tint shop.

The only time I've seen a Rover in person was at a local auto auction and I had no idea what it was at the time. Now I wish I had spent more time looking at it.

I used the rolls to tint my Discovery. The job is more time-consuming than it is difficult and I'm happy with the results I got especially since it was my first time working with tint. A year and a half later it still looks good.

What kind of tires are they? I've got Dunlop Radial Rovers that already have 10,000 miles on them and they work just fine in the snow.

x2 on that. I just disabled my ABS last week and I went out and tested the truck in the 2 inches of snow we got last night. It stops so much better even if I keep the tires locked up.
