I am getting ready to buy a steering relocation kit for my D1 and need to know the size of the stock tied rod. I would just go out to the truck and measure but it is dark and raining. If anyone knows what it is that would be great! If not I will just measure it when it stops raining. thanks

from the searching I have done it seems that most people are putting it under the hood, or possibly under the drivers seat. I am installing the CKMA12 into my D1. Any idea how loud the compressor would be inside the truck. Also is there any reason that I should not just put it under the hood.
