It seems the older D! 3.9 have fewer problems than the newer 4.0's. I know the newer ones overall drive better with fewer clunks and such but they seem to have more issues? Or is it that im just nuts? Thanks for any input, just want to see if anyone agrees/disagrees with me.

how much is allowable? With the truck on the ground I can move it about 1/2-3/4 of inch in rotation. The joints are tight so its in the transfer case or front dif. Might be norm atleast thats what land rover always says!

I just gave my daughter my 94 D1 with 131k on it and would like to improve the onroad ride. She will never take it off road and I really only drive it in the mostly flat desert on NV. So is there a differnt spring/shock setup that will make it drive a bit nicer?

Hi guys so hers the story, When I got my D1 it had no headliner or sunroof switches. So I found some switches and put them in but when I press the buttons the relay just clicks and nothing else. Any thoughts? Thanks everyone.

I have noticed I have a clunk! When going 15 mph or so when I stab the gas I get a clunk and if I let off quickly I hear another clunk. Might be normal just thought I would ask. Par for couse I suppose.
