How common are catastrophic failures of the air suspension on this vehicle? If maintained, is this system relatively reliable?

I'm trying to keep my 99 D2 leather as nice as possible considering the age of the truck. Any recommendations on what the best stuff to use is? And do you use the same thing on the steering wheel cover?

Well, I'm out looking for a DII, probably in the 99 to 00 range. Most of the dealers here in the NW are asking from $5 to 8K for these trucks with around 100K miles. What kind of reasonable offer do you guys think these dealers would accept? I doubt they have much enventory moving these days...
