Have a 40PA10 Solex on my 67 SIIA and I have a question for the group. when the truck sits for a while (sometimes up to 4-5 weeks) without being started, I have difficulty starting the truck. I have noted that upon removal of the carb top, the float bowl is dry as a bone. I will fill it with fuel, refit the top, start the truck and off we go. then it sits for a few weeks, and it is rinse and repeat this process. My first thought is that the fuel is evaporating from the bowl, since the truck is covered while not being used, and maybe getting hot, but wondered if there is something in the bowl allowing the fuel to drain out, although I can see nothing that would cause that to happen. Any suggestions would be helpful so I can begin to chase this rabbit and repair it. thanks
