Anyone else into predator hunting? This is my new addiction. Been shooting coyotes almost every night and stumbling into work late almost every morning. Curious as to what set-ups others are using.

Fox snuck in on me while I was texting. Ran right over the top of my caller.

A shot and a miss on a yote. Dammit.

Never been myself but a buddy used to shoot them in South Dakota non-stop. He did just get a new FLIR scope to shoot those creatures of night around here, by Savannah. Don't remember the brand, can find out though, but it did run around $4k. Great sight tho for sure.

Kind of cyclical around our place, coyotes singing...no cats, no coyotes singing...plenty of feral cats. Been like this for the last few years. Personally, I like having the coyotes around more than the feral cats. Cats are stone-cold killers. Plus, my dogs will bark at a cat...but never make much noise when yotes visit the yard.

We have plenty of coyote hunters, so a balance is maintained. Unfortunately, we don't have a good supply of prudent cat owners.

You need a Great Pyrenees. They will take down and kill coyotes. Not much they won't back down from. But typically a coyote won't get close enough. I've had four of them - three being working dogs.

Had some issues with my scope not recording correctly. Think I’ve got it fit now. Still didn’t help my aim. This fucker came in fast and I wasn’t really ready. Still not sure how I missed.
