I'm shipping those that have been purchased so far today. Still waiting on a few responses.

WARRANTY:

You get a one-year, unconditional warranty. If your compressor unit fails or fails to perform for any reason whatsoever, you will receive the full purchase and shipping price in refund. Abuse and neglect are covered, as I don't want my name on anything that can't take a beating. Returning the compressor is not required, because that's just plain bullshit, in my opinion.

The reasons it's only one year:

1: I'll probably forget that I sold them at that point, and there's no telling who will be where, or whether or not I'll notice an e-mail. Regardless, if you have an issue after that point, try to contact me. I don't see why I wouldn't notice it, but you know how things are. So, technically it's a lifetime warranty with a one-year guarantee of quick response.

2: Usually if a compressor pops it'll pop within a year, anyway. Always seems to happen that way.

Keep the e-mail address, though. As noted, I'll try to respond past that point, but I'm not too keen on promising it, as I've got a pretty slippery mind. :ROFLMAO:

Technically, these are pre-production units, and I'm not going to stick you guys with anything if it pops.

Cheers,

Kennith

Got my compressor in yesterday. Great deal so far.
Compressor @ 73° , aired up my 235/85/16 from 10 psi to 45 psi in 3 minutes 12 seconds.
Compressor head only got up to 130° during that time, ambient temp was 76° in my garage.

Like @kennith said, lower quality bag.
I found the wiring for it wasn't that bad, but an upgrade would be nice.
Hose/etc is just fine.

Killer deal at the price he has listed, Id buy another in a heartbeat.

Looks like I'm clean out of them. If you haven't received a PM, I just ran out before I got to you in line.

Hopefully everyone's happy. If not, just let me know. :)

Nice overview. (y)

It's too bad they aren't finished units with all the bells and whistles and more thorough testing of lots. That would have been a lot more interesting for people.

What's you estimated time frame for the second batch?

The second batch would be a full production test, but I just don't see the market. They'd be between $200 and $250.

Wiring would be improved with a higher strand count and purer copper as well as more effective water-proofing, the switch replaced for a unit immediately compatible with everything you'll find at Autozone, just for convenience if it gets dirty or broken somehow, nitto fittings swapped for industrial, coating/finishing/branding, high quality accessories with a normal air hose, an adjusted compression ratio, slide-in oiled, mesh, stainless reinforced filters, complete certifications, relocated fusing, a heat sink installed on the motor housing/revised head fins, and a different baseplate configuration using flat aluminum plate instead of a rolled steel stamping with four valve stems pressed in so you don't lose the caps when airing up.

Honestly, if I had my way, I'd bypass part of the output and loop it via corrugated copper and through sealed head sleeves back into the manifold; but that's just excessive. The rest I'd consider mandatory.

The biggest expense is adding another step to the production process to swap it to industrial.

There's just no way it'll pay for itself. People aren't willing to pay for quality just yet. I explored domestically produced units, and I could do it, but they'd end up cranking over $500. I'd pay it, and everyone else should pay it, but they won't.

So, I doubt I'll be having more made any time soon. This was the test run of the main mechanical modification. You can thank all the fucking yuppies who control the market by buying junk for preventing me from pushing this all the way. When people are willing to pay for quality, I might reconsider. It's a shame, really.

Cheers,

I see someone has good taste in Youtube Videos.

Had to use this to air up a tire that got a nail in it today. Already paying off.

Nice. Glad you're liking it.

Yeah, I thought of AvE immediately, and almost made a Canadian to English translation joke. Then I figured I might just not be familiar with slang that everyone's using nowadays. I didn't know, so I didn't know if it would be funny or not. :ROFLMAO:

I'm supposed to be letting my next post fall flat without proof reading, but there's not enough here for me to screw up...

Cheers,
