can anyone identify this vacuum line on the intake?

Im getting codes p0150 p0174 p1174, which seems to indicate a problem with that o2 sensor or a vacuum leak somewhere on the intake system.

it looks like the hose and grommet (blue) are supposed to be connected to the fitting (red) but the grommet seems really loose on the (red) fitting.

I have that blanked off, I do not have the fitting you have marked in Blue. What year is your truck?
it's an 04 with SAI
I am at work so I can not check my truck, however, I believe that is vacuum line for SAI
I think you're right, but I don't know what the SAI does, much less if it can throw the codes I'm getting.

I did plug it it and take it for a spin. This time it almost immediately threw p0150 and p0130 (iirc), both of the upstream o2s. Before this, I'd have to drive 20-50 miles before it'd throw the codes in the OP.

I'm pretty sure the early trucks just had that capped off. I remember them falling off. I think there was a bulletin about it.
Yes they did but in later trucks and the earlier so equipped it is used for secondary air which will give you faults related to O2 sensors since it is looking for a properly functioning SAI system.

On my 2001 4.0L V8 with SAI... just going from memory... the red arrowed port is capped off and I don't have that blue arrowed vacuum hose.
I guess the 4.6L engines where plumbed different for SAI?
