Hi team I’ve got the usual leaking sunroof thingy, I’ve looked at design development in the uk but the price is crazy, around 40.00 Nz each , I checked incrediverse, but I want to buy them not print.
does anyone know a company that can do them ?

Look for a guy named Will Tillery in parts for sale. If you wan't it, he's got it, If he don't got it, he will get it.

Used parts for these trucks are everywhere. Theres more of these trucks in junkyards in America than still on the road.

This invites an interesting debate, I think.

I appreciate the 3D printed replacement, but being made of plastic is it not as likely to fail as the original? Wouldn't the brass fitting retrofit be longer lasting?

What do y'all think?

The part of this I don't understand is why the originals are prone to breakage in the first place. It's not clear to me what mechanical stresses they are under that cause them to fail.

Hmm ...

Freezing water expands and if confined stresses the point of least resistance. Leave an unopened bottle of wine in the freezer and see what happens. (Not that i've ever done that ... :))

These corner pieces are open at the top. Freezing water trapped in them wouldn't cause them to crack. At least not in the sense implied by earlier posts.

You know, I wonder if those plastic corner trays are even needed. Any idea why they didn't just drill holes for a spout in the bottom corner of the metal pan? As I said, I'm tapping the rear corners for new tubes so it will drain when I'm parked uphill. Unless there's some reason for the plastic trays, I might just drill a hole, then 3D print a little corner insert with tube that installs from the inside so it can't fall out.

Maybe even with threading so a brass nipple can screw in...
