I'm pretty sure that the ecu tune would just make up for that extra 6 tenths of a liter.

Biggest problem I've seen guys have after swapping out to a 4.6 is the mass air sensor is different. I don't spend much time with Disco2s anymore, but I think the whole airbox lid and fresh air inlet is larger diameter on the 4.6.

Someone will see this that knows. I personally know nothing about NANOCOM stuff. Sometimes it will take a day Or two

Thanks I know it can be done because running the 4.0 tune with the 4.6 it runs hot in drive say around 98 to 102 stop start say in 3 gear runs 92 to 98 and to 90 Lt I'm getting around 350 km to a tank of 90 Lt

The Nanocom as far as I know can not actually get into the ECU programming. It can program the BCU, and SLABS, but it can't program the actual engine ECU.

I know you can adjust the Vehicle Tune that pertains to only the Hella Cruise Control module.
DISCOVERY 2 > MOTRONIC > tab over to HELLA CC > SETTINGS > tab over twice to "VEHICLE TUNE" > select your V8 engine and click WRITE SETTINGS to save onto the Hella CC module.
You select one of the options... ECU default, Range Rover 4.0/4.6, Discovery 4.0, Discovery 4.6, and UNKNOWN.

You can only remap Td5 Diesel engines to different stages with the Nanocom.
