Thinking about selling my DII. I got it in 2003 with 25,000 miles. Currently it has 125500 miles. Over the course of the years it has been tastefully modified and re-done a couple times. I try to do most of the work myself but when it was at a shop it was at Holland's Garage in CT or Kensington Motor Cars in Las Vegas.

Being that it was in New England there are two rust spots in the front passenger and driver foot wells. The driver side radiator support could use some cleaning up. I was careful to clean, wire wheel and repaint the rear frame frequently, so that area is pretty good. The tank should probably be dropped to get that area cleaned up as well.

It drives nicely and will cruise at 80 all day long.

Currently it is located in Redondo Beach, CA

As it sits it has the following:

Engine/Drivetrain
4.6 with Crower Stage 2 Cam From D&D
Alisport Radiator
Aluminum Overflow Tank
Mantec Snorkel
TF Axle Breather Kit Routed to snorkel
NRP Exhaust
Tom Woods Front Drive Shaft
DI Rear Drive Shaft
04 CDL Linkage
Transfer Case has been resealed, but looks like it might be due for another.
Transmision has been serviced with new seals.
I got front and rear axle housings from a DII in Vegas and rebuilt them with the following:
Front: Ashcroft axles and CVs, 4.11 Gears, ARB Air Locker, Axle Truss, New ball joints
Rear: GBR (I think) Axles, 4.11 Gears, ARB Air Locker
ARB Twin Compressor and Tank in rear cubby box
Lockers and Compressor wired to factory 3 switch panel where ashtray goes

Sounds like a very nice build. What are your RPMs at 80 with the 4.11s and 265/75 tires?

What's the background on the Currie's? I see they're for Jeeps...no other vehicles,
but obviously you have them installed.

They make universal kits. Rock bouncers, Ultra 4 cars run them too. Its essentially just a torsion bar with adjustable ends. Ive been thinking about doing the same on my D2.

Yes, it’s the 36” universal kit. I didn’t use the mounting tube that comes with the kit and got TJ rear frame brackets and just welded them onto the frame.
