My complaint about the Bronco would be the same as with the Defender. Computer screen on the dash, driving mode this, driving mode that. I don't want a vehicle that wheels for me. In that context the Grenadier would be more my style. That said yeah, Ford knocked it out of the park.

But available with a 7spd manual trans. You won't get away from the computers.

You haven't driven either one. You watched videos.
How it drives is irrelevant. Nobody buys a Jeep, Bronco, etc. for how it handles. They buy it because it makes going to the grocery store fun and is capable of much more. It looks the part. Nobody bought the original Defender or Series because they handled so well.

Ford knocked it out of the park. I wonder about a few things though. Tow rating will be a deciding factor personally. Those loops near the hood (are they encouraging CT style limb risers?). That silver 1960 era grill is gaudy, plain options look much better. Disregarding dealer support, I'm still leaning towards the Grenadier.

This crushes the Pretender in almost every way. On the surface I can't think of one reason why the Pretender would be "better" than the Bronco.

I wonder what tow capacity will be like.
What's up with the 1 up there where it's supposed to say well known member? Are you on probation?

This is very true.
However, frt and rear lockers on 35s out the door with factory warranty is pretty nice.
And the video of the 2 door driving on at least more than a dirt road was also a good introduction and shows it was taken into the design criteria.
Love my Landys yet this product is looking pretty good.

I'm guessing those loops on the hood are for whatever you want them to be for. Limb risers. Canoe/kayak tie downs. You know, something that is actually useful on a sport utility vehicle. Unlike the faux chequerplate on the Pretender.
It's sad because I really like my D1 and would have really liked to at least entertain a new Defender. That fact is though, Land Rover had their chance. They had decades to prepare for their new product and it should have made it to market before the Gladiator and Bronco were out or rumored. But they dragged their feet and put out an overpriced turd that isn't exciting and people have to convince themselves they want. I think the Bronco will be the nail in the coffin for Pretender sales in the US. Not that they won't sell some, but that they will yet again fail to reach a huge market because they have too high opinion of themselves.
