If you dont want to watch, 3 warning lights.
1 Suspension Fault, and 2 Low Coolant alarms.
You could hear the defeat in the guy's voice. What absolute dumpster fire of a vehicle.

Yeah, sounds more and more like a poopoo bucket. Somehow some manage to start with something really good and with years of 'development' fuck it all up. Damn, I miss those overseas Land Cruisers and Patrols. Either one would be great to have.

It's just absolutely getting killed in the comments section. What a PR nightmare.

My bad. I wrote j120. It’s a j90. We are going to replace it with a j120 when I ship the j90 back. They, GX and Prado 120, are the exact same thing with the exception of the rear door on some and the front fenders/headlights. The j90 is just slightly older interior dash, practically same seats.

The Y62 overseas gets big boy axles, rear locker, and actual off road drive modes. The one here has undersized axles and the only “offroad” mode is “snow.”

Ha, can't wait to see those sales in Florida and other warmer states just sky rocket... Those damn posh SUVs is like looking at a shitty Swiss Knife, only needing a basic phillips head and 'having' to pay for additional crap one doesn't need. That of course is going in line with the fact that most here are utility/capability oriented vs. Corinthian leather everywhere...

Those TFL guys want to be fanboys so bad but Land Rover keeps bending them over. They had a D2, liked it and upgraded to a LR3/4, liked it and "upgraded" to a new Defender. Nearly a million subscribers and 300k views on the latest video; TFL could have been a huge marketing tool for LR.

So these mooks @ TFL have done a comparison test between a Defender and............ a Highlander. Because anyone knows when you think off-road beast you think Toyota Highlander.

Huh? Next up, for the racing car comparison, is the Corvette Z whateva the fuck the latest model is vs. an old John Deere tractor. Yeah, makes as much sense right there...

Yeah, and every video was always titled something like "Will This 15 Year Old LR Make It to The End of the Block?", or "Do LR3's Really Suck?". Then when their 2020 Defender really has an "issue", all the toyota and jeep fan-boys can feel good about their new $50k vehicle purchase,

TFL is a click farm. It sucks that no one else does the types of tests they do, it could be a really good channel. When I'm watching a review video from a "journalist" and they know less about the vehicle than I do its a real turn off.

Check out CO TRAILS on Youtube.

Here is another guy in Colorado - from Denver Land Rover - who actually took it up some decent trails and gives it a good workout.
The first one is without the rear locker and has the stock 20' rims and Goodyear All-Terrain tires.

They then - LR Denver- put some 18" rims, 2" lift and 33" Toyo MT's on another one with the Off-Road Package and rear locker.
Pretty impressive.

Much tougher test than any trail I've seen TFL run.
