Trying to have the clutch replaced in a 94 D90 and coming up short on the flywheel. Part number is 5575. Anyone holding? Is there a known substitute part? Thanks!

$200 where I am. I got a bit carried away when I found out the Flywheel is no longer produced. I'm having a hell of a time getting the clutch replaced. No one seems to want to take on the job. I just got an estimate from a fairly expensive garage for $4,800 to replace the clutch and rear main seal. WTF? they estimated 17 hours of labor.

I was quoted $1350 for a DII rear main seal here in Nashville at a rover specialist. That's with them removing the entire engine to do it. I would think the clutch added on couldn't be more than another few hours labor plus cost of materials. That seems like the "we don't want to do it, but will if you pay up" kind of price.

Found a place that is doing it for $2200. That includes the seal and clutch. It’s been quite the ordeal. Upside is that I had her for 20 years and her cost of ownership is almost mill up until now.
