If your thinking of swapping out to a set of Poly engine mount, instead of rubber. Like these Ebay Poly mounts. A heads up, they are too large height wise and cause fan/fan shroud contact. Stock rubber ones are 36mm high and the Ebay ones are 44mm high. So 4mm needs lathed off each side. then the screw shaft shortened by 1/4 inch per side.
Once that's done and mounted up they seem nice and don't feel too much extra vibration. the little extra work seem worth it.

I think there was always 2 different mounts. Not sure what the taller mount fits but back in the ‘90’s I remember getting mounts from Rover that where too tall. Maybe for a diesel or something.

The place on Ebay also offers a "Defender" version its 58mm instead of 74mm in dia. But its the proper 35mm high. I'm thinking that these mounts since they are from the UK are for the diesel. But its odd having 2 different sizes with the same part no (Land Rover).

They mispackage stuff all the damn time. So some dope might have label the wrong part 100 times one night, and now we have the 2 parts with the same #.
