Found this in the parking lot today. IDK, it looks better than the the other versions. That said I couldn't see needing a vehicle and choosing this. PXL_20210915_160415253.jpgPXL_20210915_160349920.jpg

Is that the V8 (is that a 392 badge on the ghettolicious hood scoop)?

As the saying goes “Its a Jeep thing”. To each his own. Know a few Jeep owners who wouldn’t drive anything else.
We had around 125 cars in the parking lot today. Probably 20-30 of those were Wranglers. Say what you will about them, but they are popular.

That's insane.....470 HP in a freakin' Wrangler! I can only imagine the price tag....

How's that different from 510 hp in a Range Rover Sport SC?
I think that's insane too. But I'd rather haul ass down the road with all that power in a rock solid RR than the Wrangler. I know Jeep has made progress since the tin can cheap jeep days but it's still not the same.

How about that same 510 HP in a 3,000 lb Jag F Type ? I've driven that and I'm not sure how they got the D.O.T to sign off on it.
How about 1,000 HP and 3.0 second 0-60 MPH in a 9,000 lb new electric Hummer?

There's going to be a lot douche-bags pullin' a Paul Walker in that thing.

This is pure speculation on my part, but my guess is the Wrangler's COG is lower than a RR's (with similar external dimensions).
What I wonder about is whether full-time 4WD and traction control are mandatory on the 392 Wrangler.

Not nearly enough light bars. I had a 98 TJ, loved it. Looking at the Gladiator when my son starts driving, put him in my Volvo.
I have not driven one yet, so who knows.

I wonder, upon inquiring about insurance, how many people were hung up on. Because I had a Wrangler for a while, and IMO that thing will get some people killed. Just like the Denom/Hellcat have. Maybe more so.

If I wanted to haul ass in an AWD vehicle it would be this:

Really do not understand the fast Land Rover concept.

Oooo. I love the sleeper long roofs. RS wagons, AMG wagons, 540 TI. Never having to chose between the family and spirited driving. That’s where I am these days. Now all that’s missing is any of the cars I mentioned above. There’s something wrong when you go shopping for something like that and you come home with yet another Disco that needs ………… and ……… etc to be drivable. I stumbles across this you tube video and thought that was 517hp well done. Even if you don’t like it , the guys got some mad fab skills.
