@robertf you said the NTC8572 sag even with the 1" spacer when fully loaded to ~5900lbs, the majority of which is over the rear axle. During normal daily driving does the rear sit higher than the front on NRC4305?
Starting to wonder if the NTC3285 would be a better option for the rear, despite...
I have a few interior parts I'd be interested in as well, but am based in Texas. How are the front and middle carpet sections? Are the B pillar seat belt covers intact?
So this is definitely a possibility, but I'll have to source new springs for the front due to the required spring rate increase from my bumper and winch. However, those springs could definitely be a OEM version such as a HD D1 rear spring or a D110/D130 HD front. Those versions are significantly...
It's a common misconception that increased load carrying capacity requires additional suspension lift. Additionally, to combat coil fatigue I plan on utilizing upper rubber spring isolators (0.3" gain) and I have a pair of 1" spacers as a back up.
I recognize the OME kit is popular and it's...
Reading up on the Koni's.. did you end up using drop brackets due to the extra length?
And looks like I perfectly understand tapered progressive, progressive, and linear springs. No need to read the article (just kidding). That graph in the document you shared is exactly what I expected. I'm...
You are definitely near my anticipated max laden weight, with my bumper/winch and sliders I am probably +20% or so. Would you be willing to measure the unladen height from ground to center wheel well for the front and rear. I'd like to get a better idea of what kind of lift to expect.
Which...
How much stuff do you have in the back? The coil spring database shows that rear spring at 200 lbf/in and estimated at 330 lbf/in. Your experience suggests the spring is much softer than estimated.
Thanks for your input here. I certainly recognize a OME lift is the easiest option. I suppose trying for a no lift spring rate increase lift is mostly an exercise in trying something new.
Do you have any additional pictures of this truck? What was the "total" lift you experienced? And what tire size is it running?
The overall lift looks lower than the standard 2" from OME or TF.
