Doesn't the winter blend gas get worse mileage? I've seen a dropped on my Fusion Hybrid of a couple MPG since the start of winter.

Have you checked your front driveshaft?

I had the same problem when I replaced my motor. Used the bottom of a plastic bottle from the recycle bin and zip tied it to the fan shroud and painted it black. Been working fine for a couple years.

Besides your going to need your NON-SAI heads for the 4.6 after you rebuild it for your rig.

I assume the 4.0 is NON-secondary air and the 03 4.6 is? Maybe a issue? Not an expert it maybe be something you can have someone turn off in the ECU (with proper equipment) and at that point you might as well have them tell the ECU it's running a 4.0. Or you could swap on secondary air...

I always heard don't ever use OLD lifters on a new cam. I have used new lifters on an old cam and haven't had a problem either.

I use a cheap pump up sprayer like my wife uses to spray her plants. I think it holds a couple gallons. I cut the spray nozzle off the end of the wand. Fill it with trans fluid, pump it up, stick the end in the fill hole and pull the trigger.
