    D1 Key Fob

Is it one button ('94-'95) or two button style fob ('96-'99)? If it is one button I'll take it assuming CBdiscovery doesn't want it - looks like he has a '96 so would need the two button anyway.

    U-joints and flex joint

There's probably a better way, but I've always removed the bushing by slicing 90% through it with a metal blade in a jig saw and then chisel/hammer it away from the walls until it can be pulled out with some pliers.

    D1 300tdi conversion question

I did the same conversion, but on a RRC and used the Tdi crossmember with the built in mounts. You'll see them for sale on the forums fairly often for $150 it seems like. I believe, but please double check, that the 300Tdi crossmember is the same for Defender/Disco. The Tdi cross member didn't...

    Oil pump priming

Is there a chance that your front cover gasket doesn't have the right hole punched? I saw it myself once and there is mention of it on the last post here: https://www.rangerovers.net/threads/no-oil-pressure-engine.12873/

    New to me '95 with a 300TDI

When I tweaked my pump the EGT's actually went down about 50 degrees on average. No elitist brass plugs for me. Too fancy for my RRC.

    Tdi notes

Obviously everyone will have different numbers on this stuff but here are mine for another data point. Its a '89 Classic with a 300/R380/LT230. It has a 1.2 tcase with 3.9 diffs and 235/85 tires which puts the gearing right back to stock. There's probably about 600 pounds of off road...

    Ashcroft axles

I've ordered quite a few things over the last couple years direct from them - great to deal with and the parts come faster than expected.

    235/85 storage

Here's a few pictures of a bracket I made to relocate the buckle up higher to fit my 235/85. A little hammering was needed as mentioned. I went an inch or two higher than needed but no harm with that. Make sure to keep the angle of the retracting reel (not sure what to call it) the same as...

    Seat controls

look under your seat and you'll see the wiring harness that goes to the seat motors. Unplug the harness from the motor you want to "jump" and connect your battery (+ and -) with two small wires to the prongs in the connector. I forget if there is enough room for alligator clips, but you can...

Steel Fuel Tank and Craddle Interface

No seal as far as know, but mine has some thin rubber pads between the two.

    Transmission questions!

For the clunk - check the ball joint in the rear suspension. I had what sounded like a trans clunk and it was actually the ball joint.

Recommendations for stainless steel extended brake line

Kennith - AB actually does make their own lines. AB has a couple things that they have recently started to do in house. As for the spiral things, I just re-used my old ones on the AB lines. I think they look cool.
