    4.0 V6.

Yea, they got three chains too. One in the back, two up front. My mom’s 03 Explorer rattled on startup for a loooong time but never really had any engine issues. Sold it with 190k on it.

    4.0 V6.

The SOHC V6, which is the one in the LR3 and used since the late 90s is an interference motor. The older OHV version is not.

Old timer thread got me wondering, what Rover got you onto Discoweb?

I'm a bit younger than most of you folks here, but Rovers were definitely my "taproot" into cars. I would go to work with my stepdad when I was a little kid on days when there was no school but my parents had to work, and on the way there we had to pass Land Rover Glen Cove and it was my...

1.5 years and 15k miles later my MAF codes haven’t returned.

    2011 LR4 Restricted Performance Mode

I had a dirty MAF cause a restricted performance condition. Had to clean it 2-3 times but I eventually cleared the code. Get new air filters, too.

    New Land Cruiser

I love his videos. The base model makes a lot of sense, but, no sunroof, no third row. $55k buys a lot of 93 and LR4 parts.

I had OX lockers in my second XJ those were baller. Pull cable, locked. But you had to route a steel cable into the cabin.

It’s a five link front? Aftermarket arms are easy, probably a few companies already testing some.

A journalist I follow put Toyo AT3s on his and IIRC that knocked off 20 or so miles of range.

This took a turn. in the warm weather he and my nephew love soaping the trucks up. as far as everything else? IMO all our kids will need therapy one way or another regardless of how good of a job you think you’re doing. Just be receptive to what they say. My parents aren’t, and it definitely...

Mud? No thanks. I was over the hubs in brackish water today scoping out coastal damage from the last two storms, I’m not sure what’s worse… that or the mud. At least I can just rinse that off… mud stays around forever. when my son says “drive through the water daddy” I really don’t have a choice.

Yeaup. With the two little kids I’m lucky if I have time just for a wash. I used to do both cars once a week. Life changes, priorities change. Im keeping this truck for a long time so dents and dirt don’t matter to me as much as maintenance and mechanical upkeep.

Meh. I love waxing and detailing my truck. I also am totally fine with squeezing it through trees in trails up here. Scratches and small dents to me don’t really equate to real body damage… which is what I’d do when I was leaning my Jeep against trees to pivot around rocks.

Yikes that’s $$$. You can build one for half that, prob less. Not too hard, either.
