ive only seen 1 ajv8 that broke a cam. start with a compression check also check the drag/ proper connection at the cam sensor.

replace the pvc and clean the tube that enters the upper intake / throttle area. Renew the injector filter screens at the fuel rail. clean the comlpete throttle plate, reset fuel adaptions . these are the heavy hitters to resolve misfires

I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy that is wondering why people insist the 06+ lr3 is more reliable than a 05. only a few enhancment actualy took place between the model years... if you want to call a few wiring splices enhancments. my concern with lr3 reliablity is the CAN bus...

the reds are better on the right coast too... when it gets slick/muddy, the maxxis tires just stop working unless you have 800hp to spin the tires fast enough to dry them and the surface they are running on, even the comps. the reds dont care if its muddy or not. cool story :yawn:

maxxis makes the trep bias in 2 compounds. Reg and sticky competition. Bfg reds only shine on rocks...prob best suited out west. The comp treps have twice the sidewall of The red.

Ive beat the hell out of my stock axles on 33s at rc and knock on wood ive always made it out of the park under my own power. upgrading shafts on a d2 axle is setting you up for a 3rd member failure... pretty much your going to find your next weak link. the fj80 axles are the way to go. they...

the front diff is straight forward... for the t-case and rear e-diff i would run oem fluid.

we watch a friends child with autism... our lab monitors his moves to let us know if the child is out of bed at night.

our lab does great with kids and monitiring noises at night. locks arent going to stop a burgler or theft. Id rather hear the dog bark while i grab my shotgun.

Kenny the 9.0rc is the main winch I see on comp buggies a few local rigs have them and swear by them. I'm leaning that route

I still love my mildly built d2... With subtle mods its been a great all around trail truck. As for mongo he's got a killer build.
