    Just got rid of all my used coils 6 mos ago( tired of moving them all the time) and would'nt you know ,on my wife stock d1 ,broke the rear coil. Looking for a stock one.

    You may have a front timing cover gasket leak, and not a head gasket issue.

    just broke a left rear coil spring, whats the color on the spring for a drivers side rear spring, I think I have one but don't know what the color on the spring is. thanks

    To barrel weber is a add on. Not stock As mentioned above the 2.5 liter is a 5 main bearing engine, much better engine longevity wise , I'd keep that engine if I were you.

    Oh, if it doesnt you may need a new dizzy, Have you done any work on the dizzy lately, replace cap, rotor you may have dislodged the counter weights, easy to do if you were ranking up on the rotor.

    Id look at the rotor, twist it gently counter clockwise , does it spring back?

    Solex fuel issue

    Get a Weber or do a complete gasket swap. hows your choke ? Take the air filter off and have someone place their hand over the carb, this will suck the fuel into the carb..caution is advised on a back fire . It will work.
