I couldn’t access the filter bolts without lifting the drivetrain. I’ll let a shop handle it next time; I have the upgraded pan sitting in the garage.

I did not remove the pan. I only changed fluid.

No I didn’t remove those pieces. Per the instructions I read, I let the truck idle for a couple minutes with the AC on blast. The filler pump I used had a clip on the end that snaps into the fill hole, similar to this.

There?s a drain plug that?s pretty easily accessible between the exhaust and crossmember.

I changed my transmission oil two nights ago in my LR3. Warm engine to drain, warm engine to refill and it shifts flawlessly. I had every intention of changing the filter but elected not to unbolt the transfer case mount.

My ‘05 SE V8 has served me well for the past 3 years and 20k miles. It’s up to 99k miles and the service has been minimal.

No complaints from the Baja Rack. Wind noise is barely noticeable and the rack is very sturdy. I would definitely recommend it! The factory ladder shifts a bit on the top of the back gate but it hasn't caused an issue yet.

I forgot to update the ad but I got one from Baja during their Black Friday sale.

Considering buying another LR3 and if I do I'll want to put a roof rack on it. Baja and voyager are the top choices but open to others. No half baskets or factory racks. Would also like a factory ladder
