I do have a test light and tried this method. With ignition off and all doors closed, no light, not even a dim light. I opened the passenger door and what was odd to me is the light flashed on and off. What is up with that?
I was really hoping the light would have been at least dim as that...
I replaced my alternator with a known good spare. I still have the problem. I thought I had it corrected and left the battery connected. I became busy with other things and left it for over a week. I came back to a ruined battery. Good news… one of the few things I like about Walmart is their...
When I did mine I used the 1.2 t-case. I wish I would have tried harder to find a 1.4. I have one now and your 68mph at 2400 rpm has convinced me to move that project higher up the list. With the 1.2 it never seems HP and torque are right for whatever gear it is in. Starts from a stop on a hill...
This place did a pair for me years ago. The range on this D1 is way better than my others. But… it’s in the UK.

There was another place I can’t find now that sent you fobs and a programmer you plug into your diagnostic...
Logan Gibson - Gadsden Rovers did mine 2 or 3 years ago. Maybe he still does?
Edit - duh… just realized we already discussed this. Guess he doesn’t do it anymore?

I attempted to open the hood/bonnet on my D1 this morning and one end of the handle/pull broke off giving me a nice cut on my finger.
The cable had been hard to pull for some time and I was expecting the wire inside the cable to break sooner or later. I assumed it had become frayed causing it...
I sent Bill one last year that would have otherwise gone to the metal recycler. If you have one attached to a parts rig or just laying around, please send it to him before it ends up at metal recycler. They are pretty much worthless otherwise. He does a great job rebuilding them, way better than...
