When my rear door latch was not working correctly removed the Green LR oval on the door with a small screw driver blade and then sprayed WD 40 on the linkage. Freed up the likage and worked fine. Now do the same on occasion to keep it lubed.
Yep. Had to do this a few times on the Rangie. A small adjustment makes a huge difference!
To the OP - after turning/adjusting the rod make sure is firmly set back in the metal clip or it will pop off.

We call that Truck Skiing! Used to do it at our local area after the resort closed when we were much younger. Now its owned by Vail and we’d get arrested!
Thanks! Now that I look more closely you’re right! Since its apart will just redo it with new rocker arms and push rods.
Any recommendation on steel vs aluminum rocker arms?
Appreciate it.
Chasing down a tick and removed the rocker arm assembly to find what is pictured.
5k miles on new rocker arms.
The one valve “tab” was actually broken off the arm. The wear of the other ones just doesn’t seem right to me yet this is my first rodeo as former repair performed by my shop.
