FWIW the Traverse map is available for Gaia, I use it sometimes just to find fire roads with campsites in North Georgia (there's POI notated along the route). Could probably poke around with it and locate nearby hotels or cabin rentals, like when it goes through Suches for example.

TPMS sensors have been a federal mandate since '07, and they are supposed to trip at 10% variance from whatever the set pressure is. There's certain things you just can't do without these days if you want to build a vehicle and sell it to the public.
The one in Atlanta looks like it's part of a Nissan dealership. Maybe the dealer chain (Regal) bought franchise rights or something and added them in to an existing location.
I can't remember if D2's behave this way or not, but if the crank sensor is functioning properly I'd think you would see the RPM needle move while spinning it over. The fact that it won't communicate through the OBD port has to be the smoking gun here.
I can’t remember exactly. I wasn’t in a hurry for it, and they had some delays due to the hurricane that blasted through right as I put my request in. Few weeks maybe. It was built to order.
I had a “slimline” front bumper made for my D1 by Overtyme. Whether it was Bill or his son, I’m not entirely sure (I got it about 10 months ago) but the construction and welds are excellent either way. Still haven’t gotten around to installing it, though.
