    '95 4.2 w/rough idle when warm...

Wow - this is a total, and unexpected, blast from the past…. Glad to see the Discoweb threads from back in the day are still helping to keep these magnificent trucks in the roads! As I recall - and it HAS been a very long time - after I sold my truck to Sven, the issue was found to be something...

Do you think AAA knows about Rovers?

Just got this flyer in the mail, complete with Discovery on the cover promoting their services. How do they know so much?:ack::smilelol:

    1995 rrc eas

That's my understanding. When I had my last RRC with EAS, anything related to the fault codes needed TestBook to diagnose.

Would it be crazy to drive a RRC cross country?

I think says it all, although I do prefer the aesthetics of the '95 dash, whether or not the airbags in it would ever deploy correctly.

    Unimog in Wisconsin

The first two pics are clearly from prior to the Parkinson's meds kicking in... I still want it/one.

    How Screwed Am I?

OK - so that might be (perverse) justification for a new garage and 4-post lift. But then all my friends with Ford diesels would want to borrow it to take their cabs off too.... Hmmm. Seriously though, that is interesting and I look forward to hearing from the techs for sure. I'm happy to...

    New England

As I long time CT resident, these come immediately to mind: Maritime Center Aquarium in Norwalk, CT - right off I95. Mystic Marinelife Aquarium in Mystic, CT. Nearby also is Mystic Seaport. Both also off I95 on your way to Newport, RI. Gillette Castle if you like to see what weird eccentric...

    How Screwed Am I?

Ok, I'll bite - mainly because the wife and I were discussing the potential to add a RR back into the assortment of vehicles around here... What about the '10-'12 models, price differential notwithstanding? Came "this" close to getting a '10 back in 2012 or 2013 and was quite impressed.

    Providence, RI

There's a decent amount of stuff to do there and within a short drive of the city. Walk Thayer Street near Brown University for all sorts of weird and wacky shops. If kids like zoos, the roger williams zoo is pretty nice. If the downtown "water fire" events have started, check that out one...

    Somebody stole my Disco

So if I add up the prices of the mods on the truck, that's how to set the asking price? Yippee!

4.2 RRC was running great, now won't start...

I am dating myself now as it's been years since I had a RRC w/4.2 but I had this same issue over a number of years when I had a '95 w/4.2. The issue was the same as you describe, initially replacing fuel pump and moving on from there. It was very, very intermittent and a PITA to trace down. If...

6-Wheel Drive Discovery II - Am I totally mad ?

Holy. Crap. Impressive. Goes to show that the spirit of English back garden/shed tinkering is alive and well!

    Range Rover "Progress"...

The newest ones are growing on me more and more... I came close to getting a '10 about 3 years ago and was pretty impressed. This newest style took a little while to appeal, but I am afraid that if I go drive one, I will come away with one. Would need to be a '14 at least and I've always...
