97 Disco 1 automatic trans standard tires P235-70R16. What RPM do you see at 55? Mine is over 2000 and seems high.

Anyone else have a Britpart Lynx interface? It is nice to be able to sync key fobs. I disabled the immobilization but then it would crank but not start. Came back a couple days later and it started right up. Thought maybe we could compare notes.

The plastic ring that actuated the door lock from the tumbler is broken so I can't lock or unlock with a key. Probably a unicorn unless I buy the whole latch assembly but I thought I'd ask anyway if anyone knows where to get one. Picture attached...

My 96 return fuel line is toasty and leaking. Anybody tried the Dormann nylon fuel line and fittings? Looks way easier than routing new steel line especially for a return.

There are 6 threads that mention getting a P1496 code but none mentions any solutions that got rid of the code. Anybody ever figure out what was throwing the code? Leaky hose somewhere?

After wasting 45 minutes driving to the auto parts store to get an o-ring for the oil pressure regulator cap I thought I'd ask if there is a table of o-ring sizes somewhere in cyberspace for a Disco I. I know that would take all the fun out of it.....

Maybe these pictures will help someone trying to remove a 97 Disco radio. The first pic shows one of two 5 sided screws you must loosen. I drilled out the hole a little so you can see what it looks like. I used a small screwdriver and pressed in on the radio housing while turning the screw...

Short blocked my 96 disco. I had it torn all the way down and a couple cylinders were over 8 thou out of round. Since they were all B pistons I was kind of stuck. So now I have an old block and pistons gathering dust. Should I take it to the local metal salvage yard? A sleeve job costs more than...

This is the pin with the circlip on it to keep the rear door from opening too far. Mine is broken but I can't figure out how the old one is put in. Anybody know if it is threaded? welded? I need to replace mine. BTW its on a 97 Disco 1. Thanks, Marv
