I'm buying a D1 for my boys and found a used 98. In the description of the ad it says "The MAF is on the way out so it stalls once when first started". Any validity to this diagnosis or other ideas? Motor has about 130K miles. Thanks for the input. Patrick

The differential needs a new pinion bearing but works fine. This unit will fit Series II, IIA, and III diffs, not Salisbury though. This is 4.71 gearing. Great if you want to rebuild it yourself or get it rebuilt while you keep your Seies on the road. $150 firm. Thx, Patrick
