Damn. Yall naysayin' summabitches are talking me out of a bedliner finish. I was concerned about getting a smooth finish without any texture to assist in hiding.
You say hit it with sandpaper. Are you suggesting I sand the fabric under the visible headliner fabric? I cant imagine you mean sand the loose fiberglass. Its just strands so its not really going to sand. it will shred.
Look closely at my picture in the OP. I think maybe yall have a different...
I know this has been beatin' to death and yes, I did search but I didnt find any specific answers to my main question.
1. My headliner backer seem to be(working from the roof side to the passenger side) a thin layer of fiberglass, a 1/4" thick layer of low-density foam, a thin layer of...

In case anybody was wondering(because I couldnt find this info anywhere and Land Rover is vague about it, 4200-4900lbs.), a 2004 Land Rover Discovery SE7 weighs...

Hello. Looking to see if someone can provide some insight into this problem before I start throwing darts(money) at it.
I recently did the head gaskets on my 2004 Disco along with all the associated gaskets in the tear down. The plugs(NGK BKR6E-11 stock no. 2756) and wires(magnecor 8mm) only...
Thanks mbrummel
@achapman
Money isnt the issue in so far as Im just not interested in spending it on goodies for my truck. The only reason Im doing anything to my stock Disco right now is because of the urgency of the condition of my stock tires. I figure since Im going to spend the money on...
@mbrummal
So is that why the DII sits uneven with RTE 3" springs? What is the proper fix for this?
@jafir
Good info. Thanks.
@fishEH
Im asking if "x" setup is safe without other mods like axles, ring and pinion, shocks, etc.
What is the backspace for the AB 3030s or okoffroad? I have the stock 18" rims for an 04 DII. They look almost flush on the outside of the rim with the hub. The black aftermarket NATO rims all have at least some dish too them so I would assume they dont have stock backspace.
@achapman
Mainly aesthetics. I like the military look to them. But steels are more repairable and durable.
So other than AB, P38 and okoffroad there are no other black NATO style rim options for DII?
@Timmy!!!!!!!
So your RPMs went up and your gas mileage improved? I would think just the opposite.
@Timmy!!!!!!
Did you replace the gear itself or the whole transfer case?
Were your RPMs higher or lower that you had to correct them?
Wouldnt you want to change the low range gearing with bigger tires?
@jafir
Thanks for the link. Didnt even know about that company.
Why are the RTE lifts for the DII off by an inch?
By the way, future plans include an ARB full bumper if I hit the lottery. Would that make up the difference in the front? Did they plan it that way?
Conflicting answers + laws of physics...I guess humans are the variable in the equation.
