I bet it's the TF springs. I had TF springs with Fox shocks and poly bushings. It wasn't great. Switched to RTE 4.5" progressive springs and now it rides pretty damn good! Well, better than you think for a D2 on 35s. It can do 70mph all day long with one hand on the wheel. My shocks, radius...
I recently had a bad noise coming from the engine bay. I couldn't tell where it was coming from. I pulled the belts and spun each pulley. The Ac pulley sounded like it had rocks in it. Replaced the compressor and Allis quiet again. You should be able to spin them by hand while still in place.
Pulley going bad. Or even fan clutch could make a noise like that. I'd pull the belts and spin all the pulleys by hand. See if you have any abnormal noise or movement.
It's interesting because over seas the Brits love them some body lifts and spring spaces. I've seen some guys claim to have 2" springs, 2" blocks and 2" body lifts, but only running 33s.. Ive only used body lifts in old Jeeps when we were high school because we were too broke to afford a full...
I always make sure the axle shaft isn't resting on the seal while I re insert it. Usually have to lift it with something while pushing in. Especially the longer drivers side.

I also switched my D2 to green coolant.
Still running OAT on the lr3 though.
If you're switching coolant types, you should flush the old stuff out before mixing in the new stuff
I bought a set of TMR alignment plates and haven't gone back to an alignment shop since! Start with the front bar. That will get your wheel straight. Once that's straight. Adjust the rear bar until there's about 1/8" toe in.

So I'm fairly certain my Ac compressor is toast. I plan on doing the swap myself, but was wondering if I replace it at home, will I damage it by driving to the AC shop with no freon in the system? I've read a lot of conflicting information.
Hi guys. Need some urgent help please.
2005 lr3 4.4 V8. This morning I cranked her up and started heading to work. I didnt even get out of the neighborhood before I got "reduced engine performance " notification, then the CEl started flashing. I immediately pulled over and scanned.
Misfire on...
