    Old Timers Unite

I’d let pretty much anyone drive my 110, but mine also isn’t a minty fresh NAS 110.

I’ve done a couple fly and ride along trips to the west coast with John, Peter, and JSQ . For some reason he lets me drive his 110.

    P0171 & P0174 codes - 4.4 LR3

If you fix the root cause of the problem and drive it long enough it will eventually adapt back to the correct values.

    Bollinger

I saw a Bollinger at The Motoring Club a few years ago. It looked like something that was built in someone’s shed.

Does the 4 year/50k mile warranty on this include trip interruption reimbursement or is it just parts, labor, and emotional damages?

Discovery 2 super odd temp issue in -10 degree weather

160F thermostat would probably cause some issues with the fuel injection. There will also be a noticeable difference in heating in the winter time.

What is the most likely failed part to cause this code?

I would suspect an incorrect or defective thermostat followed by a faulty coolant temp sensor

    4.0 slipped liner?

The block is cracked, it isn’t a liner issue. The liner never touches coolant (unless the block is cracked). 03-04 motors had liners that would move up and down when hot causing a knock, but no other symptoms. They would run forever like that.

Steve Turner of RTE in the early 2000s has passed.

Such a bummer to hear. I remember going over to a rovertym when I was in high school after school one day and hitting up some power line trails with Steve. I saw him about a year ago and he was definitely bummed to see what has become of the company he had built

    Need D1 diagnostics!

When I lived in LA, without fail, one of my coworkers would break a motor mount on their D2s. The worst time ripped the intake hose off. That wasn’t a big deal. The bigger problem was the transfer case shifter must have moved because when he got out of the truck it started rolling down a large hill!
