US MOTOR WORKS US9369 water pump

You've all pretty much confirmed what I thought deep inside (deeper than my wallet...). Thanks. It's definitely better to go with as best as possible when the consequences can be significant.

US MOTOR WORKS US9369 water pump

Has anybody ever used one of these water pumps? It's cheap on close-out on rockauto, but is it worth the gamble? Thanks.

Forward gears all just stopped working! I'm stuck!

I had a similar run as well. My 95 was not shifting from 3 to 4, changed the fluid and filter and still nothing. I drove it like that for a few months and then one day “bonk” and no forward gears. Reverse was good long enough to get up a hill to a parking lot then it was the flatbed of shame...

    Looking for an alarm module

PM me a list, and I'll see what I can do. There may be some new plans for my 95, but my friend has another one that may have some meat. As for this: 14cux - AMR4110, do you know what it looks like and where it actually should be located? It gets a little confusing on the RAVE.

    Exhaust system

I had issues with that olive at one time, and I used this same stuff. It worked fine, but you have to let it cure as per the directions.

    Looking for an alarm module

I'm heading out to my truck tomorrow. I'll see what I can do for you.

    INEOS Grenadier

    I can't tell if that's a good "finally" or a bad "finally", though I'm hoping it's a good one.

    Looking for an alarm module

I have a 95 parts truck. If you're not in a real hurry, I can see if can get it out for you. I had bypassed it years ago when the door locks failed, but I think it should still work. Maybe?

    D1 No Start

If I still had my 95, I'd print that and laminate it. Alas, my 97 is a little different without the distributor, etc. but I'm curious how much so. I haven't owned it long enough to sort through any of that yet. Fortunately.

    D1 Alternator wanted.

Contact Will Tillery here on the board. He’ll set you up.

    D1 No Start

You may want to look into your distributor etc. I had that problem a while back and it turned out my distributor had gone south. It can be confusing to nail it down, though, so here's the record of my saga on nas-row. Maybe it will help.

    Steering Box Re-seal kit

Corteco seems to be the most recommended, and Trevor at Rovahfarm has a good deal on them as well as the 2 different o rings you’ll need if you’re re-using your same lines.

    Beating an overheated horse

Yes, it’s gone to Death Rowver on my buddy’s property where it’s freely offering up its vitals to my replacement ’97. Parts are still available if you need something from a ‘95. I won’t using everything. The follow-ups here have been enlightening, so I’m happy to see it going.

95 Disco Indicators act like hazards

The hazard lights reset with a restart if the inertia switch has been tripped. I just learned that recently.

Alternator not charging; known good alternator and battery. Any Ideas?

I think the pulley on post-95 alternators is smaller. I seem to remember having an issue with that when I replaced mine a few years back.

Discovery 1 - Thermostat housing Bolt Size

I took one of the bolts to the hardware and matched it up. Alas, I don’t recall its exact size, but a good hardware store is the way to go.

    2004 D2 steering box adjustment

It's remarkable how loose/worn the joints can be in the steering column - way before the box becomes an issue. Hopefully, the broken head is a sign of denial by the box to the previoius "fixer."

    Rear spring dislocation?

I was thinking about his point of the one pair being too short, but maybe they’re not the ones that broke.

    Rear spring dislocation?

You may already know this, but these let you use standard shocks on a 2” lift. You can also get matching towers for the front. https://lucky8llc.com/products/terrafirma-lowered-rear-top-shock-mounts
