    mechanic tells me front and rear hub needs replacement -- 99 Disco I

    The rear has grease all over it (the outside), I think it's just the hub seal. The front wheel has some play in the wheel but my guess is bearings. Why would the hub need to be replaced?? What do you guys think? ?
