    D1 Stock Rear Driveshaft (non-roto flex)

    I bent the rear driveshaft on my D1 and am looking for another stock one by this weekend. It's the type with U-Joints at both ends. I'll even take one without the drive flanges, as long as it is straight. I am located in Westby, WI. Thanks, Jan Smith

    Tach reading faster than engine RPM

    Any idea what would make a tach inncorrect? The tach in my 95 D1 and reads about 15% faster than the engine is running. The truck had a under hood fire before I bought it and I had to replace the wiring harness, alternator, dist., and any thing else that could burn. Since I got the truck running...

    Detriot with 30 spline rear axle?

    Does anybody know what Detriot locker would be needed to fit in a DI with the 30 spline 1.315 shafts, similar to the GBR axles. Or what vehicle the side gears would be originally intended for.

    Toyota third member in a D1

    I am currently in the research stage of upgrading to heavier axles. I while back I seen a reference to toyota third members being used in a DI. Does anybody know what has to be done to make this swap, other than just boring the spindles for the larger shafts. I can get the third members cheap...
