Bypassed that sucker years ago. Numerous mtn/snow trips since no issue. Horribly designed from the get go.

There should be a 3 Amigos sticky thread with the writeup and success stories. I did the same mod (plus the linked reseal kit) late last year before a ski trip to SLC. No more Amigos and the ABS/TC did it's stuff.

Clear the faults with ABS Amigo and see how long before they come back. For me the 11.4 fault would return within 2-3 brake pedal pushes. I did OPTION B from the linked abs-mod site and now 3 months and a trip to SLC snow no more Amigos and ABS and TC work great.

+1. I used the exact same trailer wire connector, soldered and shrink tubing, etc... This fix should correct the 11.4 Electrical fault only.
