Hi, I have a newly purchased 04. It had a new battery and new valeo alternator in it. Doesn’t seem to be charging. Only getting 12.4 volts while running. Is ther an exciter circuit or fuse that would cause it not to charge? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any rover 4.0, 4.6 engine that had top hat liners factory installed? Or are these strictly aftermarket?

Replacing the oil/water pump on the "new" 04 4.6. I siliconed the water pump, in addition to the gasket, and the oil filter adapter. Question is, do I need to do the same to the cover gasket also? I realize prolly overkill... Silicone/gasket/silicone/cover... But thought I'd throw this out...

2004 4.6. I need the pick up/retainer plate. Oil pump failed. And the backing plate is cracked. Any ideas?
