I'm a big fan of the Dura-tracs . Had them on four different trucks. On the LR3 I'm running the proud rhino lift rods and 20" rims from a late model RR. 275/55-20, about 12k miles on them so far with minimal signs of wear.

Just a little fyi. The blower motor from an LR3 fits if you swap the squirrel cage.

On my 1996 there were no hog rings. The leather was held on with a plastic channel. And the foam was held in place by the leather. FYI...right and left are interchangeable.

It's made that way so that when you get in it levels out.:D

So what fixed it?

Rear axle seal is easy on a DI. Replace the wheel bearings while you're in there.

Wheel bearing? Propshaft?

For what it's worth I put an LR3 blower motor in my 96 DI. Only had to swap the squirrel cage , plug was an exact fit.
