    2004 D2 Ski Rack options

When I was living in CO, I had a mount that connected to the crossbars. I can't remember who made it. But I believe it may have been a Thule product.

2010 Land Rover LR4 Lux plus HD package - very low miles

Damn! If this was for sale a year from now, I'd be all over it. But a looming completion of our new house is making me be VERY cautious of any large purchases.

    Ezibend brake line kit

Does anybody have experience with this kit from AB (Rovers North also carries it)? Brake line kit I blew a brake line on my beater D2. I could splice in a patch. But based on my visual inspection, I may be opening a can of worms.

Steel wheel options for a DII with more offset.

I vaguely remember that there is a Chevy rim that Summit sells. I had a set on a donor truck about 5 years ago. If I can find the file, I have all the receipts from the previous owner. It included the purchase of the rims.

Factory(?) D2 brush guard for winch tray

I know....these things were trash. But it's the only part missing from my recently purchased TReK. I remember having one years ago on my first D1. It was a brush guard that bolted to the winch tray (which stuck out like a sore thumb out of the bumper). Condition not important as long as it's...

    2020 Defender

"Land Rover also did a "whole vehicle life test," according to Top Gear, that simulates 10 years or 150,000 miles of use. It runs 24 hours a day for eight weeks. The Defender name has a lot to live up to, and it sounds like Land Rover is planning for it to exceed expectations. " And on the 9th...

1999 Land Rover Discovery TReK with 75,680 miles - Reduced Price $6,500 w/extras

I picked those pictures apart (just as Steve) and I didn't notice that. It was an early SD model so I'm guessing it had manual seats. BTW....it looks like this baby is coming to Wisconsin . Just need to finalize a few small details and arrange shipping.

1999 Land Rover Discovery TReK with 75,680 miles - Reduced Price $6,500 w/extras

I'm trying to work out something. But it's not looking promising. I have the blessing of the boss (wife). But I need to sell my '04 first. And I don't think that is going to happen too quickly.

1999 Land Rover Discovery TReK with 75,680 miles - Reduced Price $6,500 w/extras

I wish I had someplace to keep it. Unfortunately, it would need to spend most of its life parked outside. Not my idea of a good plan for such a cool truck. It's bad enough that my G4 lives outside all summer.

2003 Disco II SE7 Power Steering Issues

I had the same issues with my 04. Was told by my non-Rover mechanic that it was the pump. Replaced it and still leaked, It's currently "parked" until I can find the time to replace the pump. It will literally leak an entire quart of fluid within a week (and that's if i DON'T drive it)

    2020 Defender

Everything that I've read so far points to the 110 first. Then the 90 early next year.

    2020 Defender

I'm trying to do the geometry in my head but that's never been a strong suit. I'm not so sure the extra wheelbase will hinder. The biggest problem with turning in the D2 (compared to say a D1) is the rear tail swing. I know it may not sure as tightly, but it will track the corner better (or as I...

    2020 Defender

Interesting to run the comparison in size to the D2 (just because this is DiscoWeb) Width Defender 78.7 D2 74.02 Length Defender 187.32 D2 185.04 Wheelbase Defender 118.98 D2 100 The wheelbase is the most interesting number to me. I seems like a good thing that the wheels will be...

    2020 Defender

I'm liking the dimensions of the 90 and 110 (especially the latter). I'm still driving my D2 as a daily driver. It's definitely long in the tooth. And there isn't a day that I don't miss the slightly small DI. It was just an overall better vehicle (IMHO). The Jeep Gladiator Rubicon looks great...

    2020 Defender

Based on the spy photos of both the outside & inside, I'd guess that the "size" will be similar to the D1. I could live with that!!
