getting around to restoring the 04 and repairing some front end damage- I originally pulled out the creased front bulkhead/ radiator support after the impact, but the fenders and hood and fan shroud have never quite aligned correctly. I found a new - old stock part ( AWI700010 ) the support is spot welded on, I think the D1's were bolted- anyone have any luck doing this bulkhead / support replacement outside a body shop? I'm considering drilling out the spot welds and drilling holes in the new support and bolting it in instead of spot welding. thnx
