Picked up a 04 T-shirt case and shifter at a pull your part for $70! Other than the seal,what should I replace before the install?

rip the labels off. used t-shirts always have those shitty labels that itch the back of your neck.
When I pulled it,there wasn't any leaking gaskets or seals.I figured since I had it out I would do the seals. Should I replace all of the bearings? I would hate to pull it back out!
Do I have to cut the wires under the dash to have the traction control & the cell running together? I read this way back,but couldn't remember if it was for 03-04 d2 only.
You dont HAVE to cut the wire, but I recommend you do.

Pull the safety solenoid out of it.
If you feel like it, rip it open and replace the cross-shaft with a one-piece out of a RRC BW case.
