Great write-up. Agree with most and have done most. Powerspark has a cure to the rotor problem. RN pretty sure has them or buy direct. Unfortunately Powerspark no longer carries a cap with brass and went to guessing aluminum. Cap was never a problem - the rotors certainly caused me problems. hey Jamie , have you retrofit that distributor with the rotor and just used a standard cap then?

im still having low idle / occasional stalling after engine warm up, and just bought the rover cable and windows Pc so I can start to see what’s happening real time and try to figure this out. I’ve digested the purchase price and ready to start with the upgrades and refinement :)

Hi Rob, yes using the Powerspark rotor and their cap as well. Also replaced the throttle potentiometer which helps with the idle.
