I just installed terra firma medium duty springs on my 95 D1. Drove around the block and second time I’m getting vibrations and I can hear a click. I’m guessing u joints are original i greases them up and still clicks. I attached a picture of the front of the shaft was wondering if it is normal. The rear looks like it stretched as it should. No extra weight on front of truck only stock bumper.
Seems like my 03 had the same issues with joints but no vibrations.
No hate on the lift please.

As a general observation, if your driveshaft u-joints are 27 years old, it's probably a good idea to replace them regardless.

Here's some info from the Atlantic British product page for your lift kit that might be relevant to your situation:

Medium load front coil springs are designed to provide 2" of lift on vehicles with up to 100kg of additional equipment, such as a winch and bumper fitted to the front of your Rover. Recommended for all front medium load applications. More than 2" of lift may be achieved when less than 50kg of additional equipment is fitted. No additional equipment may lead to too much lift causing drive shaft vibration and steering geometry problems.

This would be a good place to start.

I’m pretty sure they are original. That disclaimer stuck in my head when I was doing the job. I need to measure to see how much it lifted
