Rare left-hand drive, manual transmission 1995 Land Rover Discovery for sale

$6200 OBO

Pros:
-Gasoline, 3.9L V8 OHV 16V
-Green paint scheme with tan interior
-Engine recently overhauled, new brake lines, new fuel lines, new cold weather battery
-runs and rives fine, needs tune-up
-Handles stop-and-go traffic and highway speeds well
-Lots of power, gets up to speed easily
-Interior in decent shape
-Tires are good
-power door locks/windows work well
-Clear title

Cons:
-Driver floor pan rusted through (Est $800 to repair)
-Driver seat not stable when turning
-Rough starting when cold (requires tune up)
-Fuel tank overflow leaks
-Temp/Fuel/Speed gauge cluster inoperative (wire cut)
-Left catalytic converter stolen - Requires new catalytic converter (see picture)
-Not currently licensed/registered

I can't determine if this is serious, a joke in general, or a mean-spirited, sarcastic joke towards Discovery owners.

Speaking of scheming, I remember an advertisement when British Leyland was selling Triumph TR8s. They had a deal if you came to England, purchased a TR8, and drove it for a while there you could bring it back to the states tax free.

They called it the “Tax Free Scheme.”
