Looking for a good condition alternator for my 1997 disco. Currently, I get 18V output and my lights are flickering.

Try a 120AMP alternator out of a GEMS based RR. I got rebuilt one off of Ebay from "parts player" for 134.00 with free shipping and handling. Unit looked really nice, and we'll see how it goes, but I know it's a heck of a lot better looking than the Auto Zone refurb that I pulled out (previous owner had just installed it when I bought my D1).
Yeah, couldn't bring myself to get the Autozone one. Will Tillery is hooking me up with a 120A unit, which will do nicely. Hopefully, the extra lights and winch will be satisfied. Thanks!
