Woodcote Green, 89,600 miles, TWR wheels, chrome bumpers, front push bar door sills, and door pulls. PIAA driving lights, factory?, New KYB Shocks, battery, plugs, 8 mm wires, master cylinder, booster, front rotors and pads, new swivel ball pins, seals and axels, new water pump and thermostat with a flush of cooling system. New Throttle Position Sensor and Idle Air Control Valve, All new ball joints front and back and all new bushings underneath, all new bearings in front wheels and idler pulley, new vacuum hoses and PCV, transmission and oil changed (Mobile 1 Synthetic) 4 times in the year I have had it, front and rear diffs drained and filled 3 times now has mobile 1 synthetic in it, new tires. It runs and drives excellent, I drove it round trip 70 miles a day for 6 months and that’s not what it’s made for so before getting the miles wasted on the interstate someone else should enjoy this beautiful rare (I have never seen another one) beauty. Black leather owners manual with service history at LR Dealership with radio code card, factory jack and wheel chock and factory roof rack cross bars in their bag under back seat. Factory radio and CD changer work just sound like hell. Jump seats are in the cargo area but not installed I removed as to not damage them, 1 key and fob
I have some pictures of the rubber window molding that’s cracking and the 3 door dings I can find. Now it gets a bit confusing m, I have a lot of good needed D 1 parts I will not need any longer and I didn’t use many because this car was great when I got it, but I sunroof motors and glass, extra factory alternators, 5-6 idler pulleys, radiator, ac compressor power steering pump extra radio and new sub woofers for the back and a complete interior with front and back seats with carpets in great shape. I can only post 10 pics on your email and this will be a a lot easier on this non computer savvy man. 7500.00 need to see but not a complete fool so contact me and we can work something out on the car and parts.

Yes sir, I have never seen another one in person and only a couple in pictures. I didn’t get many bites posting it for sale in the forums so I guess it goes to an auction.

I got over it almost immediately. sorry it’s ruined for you but the good news is you don’t have to look at it unless you want to.

I have a 98 as well that arrived in my hands with a similar hood gap. Clean car fax and no evidence of front end damage really made me wonder why the gap was there. Then, I learned this is a common disco issue. With a lot of patience you can reduce that gap a lot. I couldn’t get it completely even, however. This is a super nice D1 and I wish I could buy it but a person can only drive so many vehicles.

That’s so true, but I need to find the guy that wants this one. I know it’s not the only one like it but I have never pulled up anywhere where it wasn’t the only one there. It’s a little sad that it’s so nice and well kept and I can’t sell it. I do not believe for a minute that a random D 2 will appreciate more than a limited run D1 with less than 90k on it. The lack of interest after all the talk has me wondering what to do with it, I told myself I wasn’t giving it to my 16 year old son but I might just have to. At least I know he won’t get stuck and the mailboxes he runs over won’t stand a Chance. Discouraged for sure

Yep, next door to MC REN, in Northwest Arkansas of course. I think I have it sold, this gentlemen has been looking for a rust free original D1 he wanted this color too. So we shall see because we all know what talks and what walks. The longer it takes to sell it the more angry I get and better the chance that I leave it right were it is, in my wife’s parking slot in the garage. I’ll keep it I love it and I am not giving it away. I have another guy that wants it bad and he waste tk trade cash and an 03, that has no motor but I have one out of a 98 that’s ready for me to go through and screw up before putting it in the 03. Who knows. These are the days of our lives

Well, I hope you sell it and only for full value. However, I kinda hope you keep it because I know you will miss it. In our brief PM chats I can tell you are the right person for that ride. I have sold a number of vehicles over the years but there are 3 I really wish I hadn’t. 84 Toyota Land Cruiser (rust free Arizona sourced), 73 911S (sold for cash and trade vehicles in the early 2000s... Now valued in excess of 100k), and a 72 Cutlass (my first car that I didn’t fully appreciate as a teen).

Now, I won’t sell anything... lol.

Well the longer I have it parked in my wife’s spot in the garage all cleaned up the more used to parking outside she gets and who knows. But I can just see one of my two sons which will both be 16 within 2 years bashing the hell out of it or burning the seat and I would feel like a terrible parent for as mad as I know I would get. A guy that approached me a few months ago got wind I was thinking of selling and is pushing hard, he has a nice 03 without a motor which is perfect because I took the motor out of my donor that I was told I had to have if I had a D1, well not if your D 1 had 76k miles I just stripped off what i has time for and what I thought people would buy and I haven’t sold any of the parts and greenie didn’t need anything. So if I do sell this one I could possibly have an 03 which is less cool to me but still cool.

I didn’t realize it was you! How are you. How’s the move going ?
Slow going on the move but that is just how it is going to be. I did run into an issue and couldn’t bring my trailer on this trip which means I won’t have an empty trailer coming back which makes coming by your place a no go this time. I still wil be in Arkansas the end of the month and will check in with you before I leave.
