It's time for me to move on from this truck. Below is as detailed a list as I can put together. No overheating issues (see picture of digital temp gauge), AC/heat works, no lights on dash. Exhaust is straight piped, but cats are present. Truck passes emissions (last test in December). I can text you a video of the engine running and the exhaust sound. I also may include some accessories like the Hi-Lift Extreme, some recovery gear, and an ABS Amigo. I purchased the truck at 146k miles just over 2 years ago, current mileage 151k. THE BAD
? Surface rust on frame. Truck lived in Boston for two years, but I've wire-brushed and painted the spots where it was bad.
? Windshield is cracked. It was like that before I bought it, I didn't ever feel a need to replace it.
? Verrrrry slow power steering fluid leak. The box appears wet, but after filling the reservoir when I bought the truck, I can't recall ever needing to top it off again.
? Slow rear main seal leak. The only seal on the motor that I didn't replace with my initial work. It's more of a seep than an actual leak, makes no appreciable difference on oil level, bc by the time it would it's past time to change the oil anyways.
? Slow trans pan leak. The trans pan is actually dented, from whenever the front driveshaft came apart on a previous owner. When I did the fluid/filter change on the trans, I resealed the pan with a new gasket, but it must be very slightly warped bc it will still lose a cpl drops of fluid when you park it.
? Body is overall a little rough. Scratches, dings, etc. You can also tell where there was a roof rack on it at one point (cracked gutter trim and some stubborn grime on the paint where the clamps were)
Front Sunroof will raise to vent position, but doesn't slide back. Likely needs a motor.
Needs a new upper fan shroud. The motor mounts let go at URE, and when the position of the engine shifted, the fan wore a hole in the shroud. Mounts have been replaced, just haven't gotten around to the shroud yet.
