I hate to do it, but it's approaching time to part with my 2000 DII. 107,7xx miles. Transmission was dealer replaced several years ago and has less miles on it. 2" RTE lift with OME shocks. DI SD rack with ladder. Genuine LR cargo mat. Home made steel front bumper. "Dweb" CDL lever down by the right front mud flap. I hate to part with it, but I'm at a point in life where I don't have the time and money to restore it.

The good:

New Champion RN11YC4 plugs
New Kingsborne 8mm wires
New Allmakes 4x4 coil
All new O2 sensors
Almost new 265/76/16 Kanati Mud Hog tires

All the above (except the tires) were changed to clear some codes, correct a misfire on #2 and get the truck back on the road. Drive train appears to be in good health again. Engine runs smooth with no codes at this time.

The bad:

Needs new wiper motor and rear door lock actuator. Center air intake moulding is cracked. Paint is fading in the hood and roof. Sun roofs were silicon caulked shut many moons ago after fighting some leaks. Discovered the other day that the console has cracked behind the window/ heated seat switches. Power steering pump is leaking. The sagging head liner was pulled and painted several years ago.

The ugly:

Solid coating of rust on most of the underside of the truck. The front 1/3 is pretty clean but the rust gets thicker the farther towards the rear you go. No holes, but flaking.

I'm located just outside Charleston, WV. $2200 obo.

Hate to see you leave this one behind. Are you getting another?

Me too! Been wrenching on this one since it was new. Probably not a Disco, but I would like to have a Series down the road. I'm leaning towards give Toyota a try this time around and picking up a 100 series Land Cruiser.
